STRUCTURE
A sculpture for school 1243
Simplistically put,
this sculpture represents a variety of elements
of structure and, metaphorically, refers
to the school experiences of the students
at 1243, or, for that matter, any other
academic institution...

Gargoyle
(installation completed in 2006)
The
original had been a final detail, for a
year long public project
"Point 7", situated
in Fayetteville, Arkansas Parks Department's,
Wilson City Park. The original Gargoyle
was ceramic and it was destroyed by vandals
within a few weeks of the projects public
dedication in 1980. I promised myself to
replace it some day with cast bronze which
is more or less impervious to vandalism
and molestation! And now I have a mold to
recast the image if it's vandalized or stolen.
The Gargoyle was a gift
to the park and had been in storage
for over a year waiting or installation.
It is now installed at "Point 7"
and I am very happy.
